SUMMARY:Work Zone Safety Awareness for Police (Webinar)
DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE: This is the only Work Zone Safety Awareness training credited as a prerequisite for the Traffic Control Coordinator Program. \nA log on link and full instructions will be in your registration confirmation email. If you do not receive immediate confirmation\, please check your SPAM folder or email caitregistrar@soe.rutgers.edu \nCourse Description:  \nThis course\, similar to our Work Zone Safety Awareness Program\, is specifically being offered to current New Jersey law enforcement officers who require an overview of working safely in the roadway. This course does not replace the Police Work Zone Safety Train-the-Trainer Course. As new or veteran law enforcement officers are frequently required to assist with short-term work zones or are assigned to long-term projects. There are no allowances for errors when working next to traffic\, so it is important for personnel to have a solid understanding of work zone safety compliance with the national MUTCD standards.
