In conjunction with DVRPC, SJTPO, and NJTPA, the Division of Local Aid is offering Pre-Application meetings for the upcoming SRTS Solicitation. The prospective applicant can discuss their project concept and get guidance on whether the proposed project is a good fit for the program. The team will be able to help identify any potential risks and discuss essential program requirements. Participation does not guarantee a grant but helps the department ensure that the projects submitted for funding are good.
Be sure to schedule your Pre-Application Meeting by October 9, 2026.
Meeting Prerequisite
Submit to DOT-LocalAID.ResourceCenter@dot.nj.gov ahead of meeting:
- Project map - if you don’t have one, use the Map Maker Tool
- Brief description of the project
- Estimated project cost
How Do I Sign Up?
Find your Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO):
- Select your MPO: DVRPC, NJTPA, or SJTPO
- Follow the prompts to select a day and time on the calendar that suits your team.
- Once meeting is scheduled, an automatic invite will be sent to the scheduler. The invite can be forwarded to the other team members/ invitees.
