NJDOT Local Aid & Economic Development provides NJ counties and municipalities with project planning, grant applications, and project delivery guidance to help improve local transportation infrastructure.
We aim to support local public agencies in advancing focused investments to produce successful projects that enhance New Jersey’s local transportation infrastructure. This commitment will strive to create a seamless transportation system where we work, live and play to improve the quality of life for New Jersey’s residents and the traveling public.
NJDOT Local Aid & Economic Development supports New Jersey’s local transportation infrastructure in 21 counties and 564 municipalities. Our team’s goal is to assist each community with project planning, grant applications, project delivery, guidance through the federal process, and much more.
